Whether you’re creating mulch for the garden or clearing new-growth trees, Woods has the best tool for you. The Model 5000 chipper/shredder is designed to reduce solid material and debris up to five inches in diameter to fine, useable mulch – perfect for gardeners and landscapers.
The Woods' TCH4500 chipper is made specifically for compact and sub-compact tractors up to 35 horsepower. Built with a heavy 7-gauge chipper housing, it chips branches up to 4 1/2 inches in diameter. It features a double-banded belt drive and an extra large feed chute opening. Add the optional discharge chute to direct debris into a trailer or truck bed.
The medium-duty 8000 series of chippers features reversible steel blades that chip debris up to eight inches in diameter (9 inches for the 8100) – for professional landscapers and farmers. The model 8000 is gravity feed and the model 8100 (shown at left) is self-containted hydraulic feed. All Woods tractor chippers and chipper/shredders are PTO-driven with a three-point hitch mount for use with sub-compact, compact, and utility tractors.
